4 Main Problems and Challenges

Political instability, industrial insecurity, uncomfortable labor relations, low availability of energy, weak industrial infrastructure facilities, lack of skilled manpower, adoption of technology for industrial operation Aspects like lack of capacity, low productivity, lack of diversification of exportable goods, poor supply management situation are the main problems in Nepal's industrial development. In the same way, the main problem is that people do not have the mindset and environment to make industry and business a means of livelihood. Investing in the country, making maximum use of our capital and intellectual assets in the productive sector, increasing self-employment opportunities in the country and creating a reliable industrial environment are our common national challenges. As a result, Nepali labor is attracted to foreign markets, there is a growing shortage of skilled manpower in Nepal from the management to the labor level, and the important resources in Nepal remain underutilized. In addition to these problems, keeping in view the geographical location of Nepal, geographical location, increasingly competitive environment around the world, economic liberalization, impact of globalization, increasing and changing role of information and communication technology, environmental challenges, industrial and business processes should be simple, easy and transparent and scientific. Forestry and increasing the role of the industrial sector in the greater development of the country is the need of the day. Besides, diversifying the competitiveness of exportable goods and increasing productivity are also present as challenges in the industry sector.
